THE FOCUS
As humans, we have evolved over 6 million years to perform the basic and fundamental functions of STANDING, WALKING, RUNNING and THROWING.
Yet, the importance of this when training or rehabilitating a human is mostly overlooked, resulting in an endless cycle of 'Pain, Rehab, Exercise'.
The intention when training, whether it be; to reduce pain, build strength, increase muscle mass or improve any sort of aerobic exercise, should be to enhance the specific movements humans are designed to do.
It is when training or rehabilitation doesn't honour this human evolutionary blueprint, that it causes further imbalances and inefficient movement patterns in our bodies, which often are the cause of chronic pain and poor posture.
HOW WE CAN HELP
If you want to truly eliminate pain and discomfort sustainably, you must change and balance the way you move.
INTRODUCING FUNCTIONAL PATTERNS
Functional Patterns is a functional movement-based system. The method helps people reduce their chronic pain, move correctly, and achieve balanced posture.
Our approach targets the root causes of dysfunction by correcting movement patterns. restoring natural biomechanics, and improving posture through exercises that integrate the entire body. Our functional movement training is results based and client-focused.

We focus on aligning the body to function optimally in real-world movements. This includes walking, running, and standing, rather than isolating muscles. Functional Patterns can benefit you whether you have a functional movement disorder, or are looking to optimise your movement.

By training the body to work in harmony with its fascial system and biomechanics, we create lasting changes. These meaningful changes improve pain, posture, and overall functionality. Our functional movement exercises instil changes that stay with you for a lifetime, not just days after treatment.
WHO IS IT FOR
Training sessions are suited to people of all ages, from every walk of life. To be specific, our training sessions are suited to those who are looking to sustainably work on the following:
Manage physical pain
Reduce body fat
Manage stress
Improve energy levels
Improve sleep quality
Address biomechanical imbalances*
Improve muscular development
Reduce risk of injury & disease
*Such as: Scoliosis, Limps, Postural deviations, Aches and pains
